In June, Les Bords de Mer are welcoming chef Louise Perrone for an exclusive culinary residency, conceived around a new summer event: The Blue Lunches.
Revealed in season 17 of Top Chef and at the head of the restaurant Rouge in Marseille, Louise Perrone offers a free, generous and deeply Mediterranean cuisine, fuelled by seasonal produce, sea flavours and fire cooking.
Every Saturday lunchtime throughout June, the Rooftop of the Bords de Mer becomes the setting for a unique culinary experience overlooking the Mediterranean. In a bright and convivial atmosphere, the dishes celebrate the sea, light, and the flavours of the South in a sunny and summery spirit.
An exclusive collaboration between Louise Perrone and Les Bords de Mer, to be discovered throughout the month of June.

Seafront restaurant
Perched above the sea, the naturally lit restaurant offers an intimate sea-view setting, with each table benefiting from a panoramic view of the Marseille coastline and the Plage des Catalans. With deep respect for local produce, discover a revisited Provençal cuisine that showcases seafood and the Provençal terroir in a new light.
To be enjoyed according to the season: Filipino ceviche, red pepper and pickles, catch of the day, grilled cuttlefish, satay emulsion, chicken supreme with lemongrass & ginger, aged cheeses from the hinterland.

Sun-drenched desserts
For a sweet treat, Head Pastry Chef Gabriella Jannini creates dishes inspired by the seasons and the flavours of the South. Each dessert celebrates Mediterranean light and freshness: a variety of dark chocolate, cocoa and pine nut crumble with fresh herb sorbet, olive oil ganache, candied black olives and vanilla ice cream, clementine Mont Blanc, or peach poached in lavender syrup, olive oil shortbread and Fontenille Rosé peach sorbet. These are both daring and delicate sweets, designed as a gourmet stroll between land and sea.

Every Sunday, discover the Bords de Mer brunch facing the Mediterranean and enjoy a gourmet moment in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.
Thinking about seasonal produce and homemade creations, the brunch combines a sweet buffet, savoury options, healthy inspiration, and dishes made to order for a generous and convivial experience with sea views.
Between homemade sweets, focaccia, salmon gravlax, truffle croque-monsieur, or avocado toast, every Sunday becomes an invitation to savour Marseille differently, in the unique light of the Bords de Mer.

ON THE CORNICHE IN MARSEILLE
Head to the best rooftop in Marseille for a suspended moment overlooking the Mediterranean: bar, café, tapas, seafood, raclette... The menu changes with each season and the weather.
An ideal spot for a sunny on-the-go lunch or an aperitif facing the sunset, the most beautiful rooftop in Marseille.
Open all year round, only at weekends in winter and every day from April. Opening times vary according to season and weather. Privatisation on request.

Breakfast by the sea
Start your day with a sea-view breakfast in the idyllic setting of Bords de Mer, overlooking the Mediterranean. Open to non-residents, breakfast offers a diverse selection of fresh, local produce, various à la carte options, as well as vegan and gluten-free alternatives. Among the must-try items, you'll find our iconic 'pompe à huile' from Pompe and artisan breads, which perfectly complement this delicious and convivial moment.

With the Clef Verte label, Les Bords de Mer has made it its mission to encourage short-circuit sourcing, giving priority to local, responsible producers and seasonal produce. The wines, honey, olive oil and jams come from the Fontenille Collection estates in Provence.
